Building Naveen restaurant is not as easy as he thought. There are days when the initial optimism is not, the days when the loss on the roof is unavailable, the wooden stairs too rotten to be saved and teaching on the outer wall continues to fall at the slightest hint of rain. Naveen seems made of smiles and good will, but Tiana often fears that are simply loaded at a dead-end project - something that will take them first and then the madness to ruin. On those occasions, at night, Tiana dreams. There are times when it appears before his father, high and happy, and spurs us to move forward, not to give up, because soon, with its own, can be successful. There are other more dark and quiet, though, that dream is to appear in Doctor Facilier, with its skeletal hands aimed at her and grin that shines in the darkness thicker. His voice reaches the remote, as carried by a gust of wind, as the voice of the spirits. "Make a wish," he hears whispering, while stirring in his bed trying to escape. But out of the nightmare -
forget, even when he is awake - it is never easy, so the Thin Man manages to grab it, to keep her.
His hands leaning on his arms in an icy touch, making her shiver - with cold or fear - and her voice are back, this time very close, almost is talking your ear. "Bring me back, Tiana, and what you want will be a reality. Bring me back and I'll give you everything . "
His grip grows stronger and she feels his fingers to mark the skin, frost penetrates the bones. "It was you who do this to me, little girl," resumed Facilier, the tone now more angry and threatening, "but I'll be good and give you another chance." Then, in a cloud black smoke, he and his evil spirits disappear .
Tiana opens his eyes, the fear that still makes the heart beat, and everything he can think of is that it would be easy, terribly easy, to realize their dreams with the help of man shadow. His words to the digging mind, keep awake for the rest of the night, still clenching his fists around ripetersele sheets, trying to bring her face to the memory of his father and his optimism - which feel completely free -, to remember Facilier of the problems that has caused the harm he has done to many innocent people - which, at present, is irrelevant. The fight ends with the nightmare in the morning, when Naveen wakes up beside her and smiles, with his cheerful attitude and terribly princely. Hums, falling out of bed and dragged her to breakfast, pointing a few dance steps, invading with its light and allowing them to forget all traces of fear.
Tiana is only then that manages to find some 'of his hopes and his strength: try to keep them tight until the next night, until the evil spirits will not come back to visit her -
for revenge.
