Back to the past ... with the respective Server
It 'a long time since I wrote on the blog ... Well there was to be expected I had also written on the description eh:) After I
exonerated wanted to talk about something that I thought this morning ...
We are seeing more and more like a transformation from the sitting-tech mobile -tech, with a consequent increase in products that rely on networks to provide functionality.
This transformation has led to the great Big to develop technologies increasingly focused on a shift that goes from the personal to the social, see the different social networks and Web 2.0 in general.
We have more and more tools that previously existed only in the hd, carried on the network: eg word-processing tools, music players and video format converters even systems, mass storage so ... we are increasingly tied to our computers and network drives begin to lose function and motivation to exist.
Alongside these web technologies are flanked by products such as gsm, pda, iphone, all products that increasingly have reason to exist only if connected to the Web .
This shifts the focus from the personal to the collective , the social and consequently to a centralization of the instruments, similar to the centralization that existed before the personal computer where a central server provided all the tools and applications including calculation of the various client! And I think what is happening is just a return to this style, with a substantial variation of the server in this case we are the ones creating them to keep them alive! We could then speak of social-server !
